Synopsis: Can't get Myblaster plugin to change channels on my STB (Dish Network 311). I mentioned some of the many threads which I have read and still have no luck. I would really like to scrap MCE 2005 and use MP as it appears to be SO much better. Of course, if I can't change the channels with my remote, what's the point?

Here is what I have done so far...Used Zap2it plugin to populate the channels (worked flawlessly) and all channels are set as external (received through settop, and SVHS). Downloaded and installed myblaster plugin (dll in process folder and blaster.exe in MP folder). Ran blaster.exe and learned the codes for my Dish 311 STB. I made sure MyBlaster plugin was enabled.

MP doesn't change the channels (the channels are working because I am able to tune them with Dish remote.) I then ran blaster.exe again and made sure the codes were learned for port two. I edited the mediaportal.xml to force port 2. When I select a different channel through guide, I see the bud flash, but the channel stays the same.

Is there a good reference manual for getting this setup? I have reviewed the wiki, but it seems very limited at this point. I'm about to give up on this altogether because it is more frustrating than it is worth. I would appreciate any assistance.
