Hi,
Having used MCE 2005 for a considerable time I have built up a large number of recordings, all of which are in DVR_MS. Having then got very annoyed with some of the problems I was having with MCE I switched over to MP. At the time the media centre was used extensively by the household. The old recordings made play perfectly well within MP but I dont' have any program info attached to them anymore. From what I understood of DVR_MS, the program info was contained within the file but I have no real grounding to that, all I know is that I have no idea what I'm watching within MP except the recording file title.
This is the single remaining issue that I am having with MP now as I have managed to work all the others out and if anyone could shed some light on what I have to do to get the recording info back I'd be a very happy MP user!
