MCE Remote keyboard in XP Pro (norwegian) (1 Viewer)

Hi there!

I have Windows XP Pro - Norwegian. Today I got my MCE remote keyboard and the original remote control with the IR receiver. But I can't get it to work.

I have tried to install the windows media roll 2 update, but It won't install because I have the wrong language on my operating system. So my question is, what is the fastest and easiest way to get it to work? Do I have to install a english version or is there a way around?

I am using English XP-PRO and the English drivers (KB912024) - no problems with æ, ø, å etc., if that is your concern.

This worked for me using same OS (XP-pro norwegian):
1. Install IR-server suite, found in first post here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ir_server_suite_public_test_version-t24849.html
2. You only need IR Server
3. Rightclick on tray -> setup -> configure MCE (...) -> Enable all tabs.
