I've a server/client installation, which works great.
The server has a 150MCE and a 500MCE card in it.
The 150MCE came with a remote control, so I'm trying to set it up.

The OS the client is running XPSP2. I've managed to install the remote driver by editing the irbus.inf. I had to add this line:
%USB\VID_045E&PID_006D.DeviceDesc%=IrBus, USB\VID_0609&PID_0334

This all works. The remote gets recognized.

The only thing is .. sticky keys. When I press a key it seems like it keeps getting pressed..

This is not a MediaPortal issue, the same happens in Windows itself, but I was hoping someone has had the same issue, and has resolved it.

Exactly the same issue here... Here in Tokyo, we can't usually buy the same name brands as the rest of the world, but we get pretty much the same stuff branded with Japanese brand names. I've got a fairly no-name USB IR remote control that I installed by editing the INF file. Works fine except the sticky keys.

The packaging itself says that it is only supported under Vista (should have read the packaging before I bought it, heh!). I wonder if ripping an IR driver from Vista would work. I don't have any access to Vista yet to try it out...

Hi,

I just bought a hauppauge 2200 and got a remote with it.
win xp found a MCE Transceivr Emulator Device 2006 but asked for drivers
I downloadd driver from team-mediaportal site and edited the inf file with VID_0609&PID_0334
When I updated the drver windows found it and installed it.
But I also have the dticky keys problem.

Most buttons work but when I press the arrow key once it keeps doing it.
So when I press left he keeps going to the left.
I tried other drivers (from this site) but same problem
Can someone help?
