MCE remote's skip button not working! (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I use Mediaportal for playback of my XVid-encoded Matroska files. The skip button on my MCE remote does not forward to the next chapter, whilst the replay button does move the file one chapter backwards. I have opened up the mapping section in configuration & they are both setup as one would expect: ie. the replay button under 'media is playing' is set to 'previous chapter' & the skip button is set to 'next chapter'. Any ideas why there should be any issues? Thanks.

Also, both the skip & replay buttons on my remote keyboard for MCE work flawlessly.

Try replacing the batteries, keypresses (just the odd one, most work fine) not working are usually the first sign.

Thanks for the suggestion. Well, it seems since using the chapter buttons on the media keyboard the skip now works perfectly. I haven't done any thing else.
