Using this forum for a while now and couldnt find a solution for mapping this remote button to MediaPortal

i could manage to deactivate MCE starting function by disabling a service
but when i am running MediaPortal and pressing this "start"key, it switches to a different view of mediaPortal, where settings are different (other menu names, other layout). pressing it again, makes "my mediaPortal" coming up again

so for the short term:

any solution for using MCE remote "start" key to:
- start mediaPortal
- making it active, if its inactive
- stop switching to another MediaPortal layout, when mediaPortal was actually active?

this would really help me

thanks, that works

installed MediaPortal 1.1
installed MPTray for Win7/64bit
on MP config window: "General:" -> "Keep MPortal always on top"->disabled

i am using my pc for everything else, too
thats why i needed a solution, to get control over my pc, even with mediaportal Paused and running.

if i press "Start" on my MCE Remote, while MPortal is running and not active, it gains control again. very usefully

can anyone tell me, how to get rid of one of my those home screens?

edit to clear things up:

-starting mediaPortal to homescreen
-using streamedMP
-pressing START on MCE remote
-getting a diffrent homescreen with backdrops from movies/series. everything is back english again. menu looks like not-configured (plugins not shown)
-pressing START on MCE remote again
-getting back my own home screen.

("start with basic home screen" in general config tab is disabled)

how can i kill this second home screen?

    disasters built?
ok if its not in the official built, i wont risk killing my installation for the moment
every other thing works just fine.
    thanks for the advice

and mptray helped me a lot with my first problem: starting MP with my remote only, and gaining back focus, if i worked in windows.
