Does anybody have a plugin to use the mceIR Dirver to change channels on an STB?? I want to use girder and netremote with MediaPortal but they require mceIR driver and i cant seem to find any support for it in Mediaportal.
It seems mceIR is exactly what the myblaster plugin does (but with native driver support). The MCE2005 remote has native support in MP so you dont need anything more. Bare in mind myblaster is a little behind the mceIR program because its development has halted (afaik). I think a dev was needed to continue its work.
Well my situation is i need to use mceIR in order for girder and netremote to control my equipment. An by installing mceIR, i have to replace the native windows driver. So MP can no loger change the channel on my stb. What i need is a way to use mceIR through MP to change the channel on my STB.
I have a stream link for IPTV that is a .mpd. I can play the link in VLC and MPC-BE, but when I search for it in the TV servers it can not find it. The stream is HEVC with AAC audio. Does mediaportal not support .mpd streams?

This is for the tvserver, the iptv part.
It used to only support m3u files containing all the channels, but now you can use a m3u8 too.
Usually you get an m3u8 from your iptv provider, but there are also some that can be found on the internet
