MCM + MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I don't know if i have putted this thread in the right section.

But i have been looking for a tool, which can fetch data for movies and series from IMDB and TheMovieDB, the tool needs to put a picture of the movie in the movie folder as folder.jpg.

I found a tool that could do this and more, its called Media Center Master. This tool puts an XML file in the movie folder, containing all the info about the movie.

Is there any way, that i can import these XML files into MediaPortal. Perhaps having MediaPortal to look up these XML file everytime it enters a folder with the XML in.

Media Centre Master is a tool that would more commonly be used with WMC/VMC/7MC because they dont have adequate support for metadata. MP users would conventionally use a plugin like

Moving Pictures - MediaPortal Forum - for movies

or

My TVSeries - MediaPortal Forum for tv shows

to achieve what you are wanting to achieve. I think you will find both systems provide an excellent replacement for Media Centre Master.

But can that Moving Pictures download folder.jpg and backdrop.jpg images by it self?

(Im at work, so i have no possibility to test it right now)
