Meaning of "Active Members" ? (1 Viewer)

At the bottom of the main forum page, in the statistics section, there is a new statistical value introduced with the new forum software, "Active Members".

Threads: 10,207, Posts: 72,364, Members: 14,050, Active Members: 584

Does anybody know, how the value is calculated? Just interested.

Active Members
Members who have visited (logged in) the forum during the last 30 days are rated as active.
