Media Portal 1.1.0 skining (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

im new to creating skins but im starting to get the hang of it

I thought i would install Media Portal 1.1.0 and check how the skin changes would affect what i have so far, however i cant get the new version to recognise my skin files.

Also im a bit confused about how to go about creating a skin for 1.1.0 I have checked the documentation and skin changes as well as spend the last 2 hours trying to find the information on these forums, but so far have not had any luck

The first thing i did was take a look at the default skin that came with 1.1.0 however there hardly any files in the folder (\mediaportal\skin\) and i cant see a basichome.xml or any of the other files im using (ie fonts.xml and references.xml) i assume that im either looking in the wrong place or the files are now called something completely different.

im just trying to avoid creating my skin now only to find that nothing works when 1.1.0 comes out

If anyone can please point me in the right direction on how to start to test my skin in 1.1.0 that would be a big help

in the mean time ill keep searching

Not in front of HTPC, but if I recall correctly, the skin is now part of the user files. See link on Start menu, Programs, Team Mediaportal.
