But Now I find Media-Portal is not filling my needs, more and more. Now I know you have a Roadmap to follow, but I have some suggestions to make Media-Portal...
Firefox / Web-browser Integration – Source code free, why not integrate it.
Create Plug-ins for Media Portal. Add Online Media, like Hulu, Joost, and others. MCE plug-ins can do this. Online Flash Movies, and Streaming Media online is taking off. Media Portal taking a back seat.
Stop focusing Time to make Media-Portal a DVR / TV. First I could never get Online TV Guide to work with online services, so good bye DVR. TV Viewing using a TV Card is slower, and why watch TV threw you PC waste of power, The PC should do what you TV does not do. Plus most of all our TV Cards are Expired most of us have analog TV cards now.
So Make Videos, Picture, & Music your Main Focus. Then Online Media & web-browsing. Just support TV Server for here on out.
Again you don’t have to listen to me. It’s your project. Hopefully these Suggestions may help focus your project.
