Hi everyone

I have installed Media Portal because I have had problems since day 1 with Winfast DTV. In that after a while the picture disappears. and DTV is just so slow.

However

In using the settings wizard feature, as soon as I click on my area for television the program crashes and exits immediately sending an error report to Microsoft.

I would very much appreciate finding out a way to actually get past and tune the stations.

In running the program I have deactivated Wintel DTV.

Thanks

    Hi,
If this it's the first time wizard, just use next, next until finished if you get any error just move it away (don't close it before you're finish with the wizard). Later you can setup everything in MP Setup (configuration) -> Television -> Capture cards & edit "your card" & then scan/autotune for channels.

If you scan from inside MP theres a known issue which leads to a crash, so MP Setup it's best to use now.

    Regards
    Roy
