Media Portal hang on start (1 Viewer)

Hallo together,

i have download the dvbfix and start the runme.bat ok.
When I look with dxdiag there are alway the old Versions.
I tryed to do this manual with regsrv32 /u in save mode don' t work
When i start Media Portal it hang by direct x

Ihave XP with SP2 Direct X 9, MS Mediaplayer 11

Can someone Help

    Usually there is someone out here who can handle the logs....

    I will have a try but try what Spragleknas said first.
    - What exactly did you try to do with "regsrv32 /u"?

    - Dxdiag tells you that you are running the old version of Dxdiag, but then you say that you have DX9. That does not make any sence. What version are you running?
    You can not install DX10 on XP!

    - Are there any games on your computer that need DX? Does they work?

    - Did you try to replace the graphic card, did you realy? I had the problem with stuttering sound. I solved that with replacing the graphic card - yes it was the graphic card.

    - Reinstall (First deinstall then install) your graphic card driver.

    - Restore your Disk Image! And try again to install MP on a clean install.

    Thanks all for help and sorry for the late answer, but i was on a business trip. I have inst. XP SP3 and everything is running.
