Media Portal not going Full Screen (1 Viewer)

when I installed media portal on my computer I checked the option to start in full screen but about 1 out of 10 times it will actually start in full screen mode I have to press [alt] +[Enter] twice in order for me to get media portal into full screen mode.

my resolution is 1360x768

please let me know what I can do to troubleshoot this issue.
