All the plugin there are used to give a new option to the MP. the added options is for a feature in the MP software itself. but PE Plugin will not add any new options, feature or extension for MP software itself. Also HOW did you know that most of users will don't need it?lets explain it in more simple, lets say that you have 2 receivers and both are of the same types and you get the software of one receiver down. To solve this problem you have 2 options:<ol> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Start make a new scan for all the channels then store it. This will take a long time to get the system back as it was before.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Connect the two receiver and transmit the stored channel to the fault one.</li> </ol>That is the same that MP PE System will do. If you have the same satellite TV and cable TV in this case all channels will be ready to use. Also lets consider the worst if you don't have the same satellite TV and cable TV all you will do in this case is just make a scan and store this new channel list (if you use USB or have a CD/DVD burner)It is not so advanced it just copy some  files (.dll & .sys & .inf) and you will do this only for your tuner driver and for other drivers they are a lot of lists available all over the internet also there is a small program that do this job for you so you don't need to be worry about that.<img src="http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/2382/drvyv9.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /> No, as windows can't work on itlets say i hate MS windows but i like MP as a Media Center software and i don't wanna to take a space from my HD to install windows which i really need to install and use MP only. Why should i do all of that instead i have a CD/DVD/USB that can be used to run MP from it.i obsessed bcoz this PE plugin is not like other plugin that will extend MP to support new feature. This plugin will make a complete change to the whole MP system it will extend its use with its plugin. It will add a lot of advantages that i mention them before and you convinced with all the options that it will give to MP but you disagree as you don't think that all the users will need it!!How did you know something like that?!!There are three ways to do this method:<ol> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Use silent switches to install Media Portal and then make a batch run to apply some registry that reflect your MP configuration. This method will be done throw using WPI which will give you additional option to de-select install of MP if you don't wanna to install it.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Use nLite with an Add-on that contain all the registry of MP with the configuration you wanna. But using this method will don't allow you to disable the install of MP if you don't wanna to install it. instead you will need to make a new CD</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Using Microsoft method which will be more advanced. In this method you will going to write all the registry and configuration in Microsoft .inf file then play with some HIVxxx.inf and another files so that it will be just copying the files and add registry like what Microsoft do when going to install Windows Media Player and Messenger...etc. Also with this method you will have an option to uninstall MP also you can control if you wanna to install MP by changing some entries in .inf files of Microsoft windows. You don't go to worry about the advanced Tech to do this job all can be done via batch file.
