Media Portal Plugins (1 Viewer)

This may be a stupd question, and its so basic its not even documented (from what I found looking for 30 minutes).

My first time trying to install a plugin, I am trying to install "My Status". I figure you just download the zip and extract the file to the MediaPortal/plugins folder. But I can not for the life of me see how this shows up in the Setup/plugins page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ah, you need to place your dll into one of the subfolders, usually this is process or windows.

Windows is basically anything that has UI associated with it. So go ahead and place it there.
Configuration simply looks for any plugins in each of these folders and then displays them (right click them to enabled them and set any properties they might have). Be sure to restart Configuration though after you have placed your plugin there.
