Actually the source code is always included in the setup. I have also started a new project at http://code.google.com/p/mediarenamer/ where I have also uploaded the source code. I am working (when I have time) on a new version 2.0 which hopefully will include an automatic renamer. I want to make it as a windows service so that there are not so many applications in the system tray. If you are interested in participating and working on it I can add you to the project. This is also an invitation for others. Since I am now working on my Master of Engineering there is quite some time going into studies. The error Livin mentioned is probably because of the name of the folder which is the primary source of the series name. The renamer currently expects a folderstructure like this:
Seriesname\Season X\episodefile.ext
So if all episodefiles are just in a folder "Series" like
Series\episodefile1.ext Series\episodefile2.ext
it will try to find the series "Series" for every file and this series doesn't exist and returns a lot of results from the database which most likely are not suited for this series. This is something to look into when working on 2.0. In 2.0 I am also moving all the functionality (which should include service management for watch folders and configuration) into a single application with different tabs. In the future it would also be feasable to have musik renaming or some other renaming capabilities in the future. But this would need a lot more time from me or some volunteers. Feel free to check out the code if you are interested. A plugin for MP would also be nice. If the service stands a plugin could be used to tell the user about the latest renames and the status of the service. I would love to work more on the project but there is only so much time in a day... Greetings, Benjamin
