I have question about MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC2....when??

Quotation from NEWS -> Upcoming 1.1.0 RC2 Release: "We plan to release RC2 in the next few weeks..."
Now we have 1 month when infinityloop write this words Every day I visiting website and I looking for new version. MediaPortal is a very good software but 1.1.0 RC1 have a lot bugs and TVServer is not stabile I waiting for RC2...Please...Please...

As long as the roadmap for RC2 is not completly on 100% i think you wont see one.
Since i guess after this 100% the team will internaly test some days i recommend not to check
every day only for a rc2 release.

BTW. , the quote said " PLAN to release ".

Because we actually spent a lot of time testing the what was to be RC2, which we thought was good, couple of serious issues, which are real showstoppers have shown up.

So until we are happy these are resolved, no release will take place.

It also helps to post bug reports if you are having problems. Otherwise the bugs you talk about may remain in future releases. Fill in your system specs as well.

I find 1.1.0 RC1 quite stable aside from the few minor bugs listed in the roadmaps (definitely not showstoppers though). My better half hasn't complained of missed recordings or crashes for months now.

Be patient with this - it is free after all. Wouldn't you prefer to wait for a release that contains fewer bugs as a result of more thorough testing and bugfixing?

I have a RC1 system running productive and it is ot unstable at all.

RC1 rock solid on my 2 systems! Can't wait for RC2 but I'd rather them take the time to fix any bugs then rush the release.

Is it worth installing the SVNs? MP RC1 (the client) crashes daily on my system and could really do with getting ait a bit more stable

I had some problems with RC1 also. I installed disasters SVN build and that one works smoothly for me.

That's quite a few fix's behind RC2, hopefully we will be seeing end to RC2 changes very soon, just need the nod from the chief Dev's
