Even though it was a small change in code, I am very exited about this change, because it makes our lifes so much easier.
For years, users and team members had to spend a lot... I mean a LOT... you know... A L O T !!! time to create clean logs.
More than a few gone
in the process.
Reason for that is that clean logs require that you start MP without using and Extensions (Skins & Plugins).
And this meant in most cases, uninstalling them.
Now, starting with 1.1.0 RC 3, you can create clean logs with a few clicks!
But this is not only great for bugreport and support threads!
I hope that you find this small change as useful and time-saving as we do.

Now, starting with 1.1.0 RC 3, you can create clean logs with a few clicks!
- Just select the "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" shortcut in your windows start menu.
- This will open a new window
- Select the first option and then press the proceed button
- Now MediaPortal will start, using the default skin and only the plugins which were part of the MediaPortal version you installed
- Once you close MediaPortal, all your logs will be packed into a zip file (MediaPortal & TV-Server logs - if installed).
- This zip file you can attach to your bugreport or support thread
But this is not only great for bugreport and support threads!
Now you are also able to quickly test, if the issue you encounter also occurs when not using Extensions (skins & plugins).
If it does not, then you know that you should contact the author(s) of the Extension (skin&plugin) you are using for further support.
To provide them with logs, you can simply use "Option 2" in the "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" window.
