Mediaportal 1.2.0 beta - mymusic don't work (1 Viewer)

in my PC (not tested in my HTPC yet) myMusic don't work at all: no sound

I try to disable visualization, but not work yet.

Check the volume. (Especially the mixer). Are you sure nothing is muted?

yes i'm sure.
On WMP11 music play fine.

In MP when i start music i see a big flash, the cover cd image and the info track (in the lower left corner below the menu) disappear.
I'm sure the track is running, but I do not list nothing

Are you using any DSPs or ASIO? (Can't check logs as on phone) is the volume of BASS player in config set to a sensible value? (Default is 85). If you change player from BASS to directshow does it work?

i don't use DSP or ASIO.
All setting are on default (volume of BASS too, 85)
directshow not work too.

Never any problem with MP 1.1.1 and same default setting


NB: i don't know if is important. I have NO problem with video, foto or other. TV server is NOT installed.

EDIT: audio from video works perfectly (tested with 2 mkv), sound effect i don't remember i will control just return home

It would help if you could check that skin sounds are coming through (scrolling etc).
I am guessing the mkv files have DD/DTS audio and were bitstreamed to your amp? Do you have any mkv files with mp3 audio?

It really does sound like a volume control is off somewhere.... I know you have checked but could you double check that the audio for MP is not muted? I am sure you have done this already but each app has its own volume control in Win7 so you need to open MP in windowed mode (or press ALT+ENTER to get there) then just check the mixer option in Win7 volume control and be 100% sure that the slider is not off.
