I'm a bit disappointed after I tried MP2 Alpha. Because the same approach (a mistake in my opinion) is done with the string comparisons as MP1 once were, which is comparing values with each other using .ToLower() instead .ToLowerInvariant() (I haven't checked MP2's code but it sure looks like this since I encountered the same thing with MP1 during v0.2.0 which I provided a fix at that time). Filesystem operations and skin engine does not work correctly with this approach (try to run MP2 with Turkish (Turkey) Regional Settings and you'll see). I've had submitted a patch for this issue in MP1 and even talked to Albert 1-1,5 years ago about the problem, and that's why I'm a bit disappointed to see that MP2 has gone a step back... (I know it is still in alpha stage but still) After changing my regional settings to English (United States) in order to see what fully working MP2 looks like, my frustration started to pass. PiP really looks nice, and the overall feel of MP2 is quite good for an alpha. So thank you for all your hard work & time!!! Another small issue I noticed is that input fields (textbox or whatever you call 'em in skin) can not show some Turkish characters, it may be because of the font that is in use with the default skin - I don't know.
