mediaportal and UK teletext (1 Viewer)

Does mediaportal support BBC red button and other uk teletext features?

I've tried search andnhaven't found anything newer than 2008 on the subject.

    No, all the digital Teletext is MHEG5 and so far attempts to build an open source solution have all come to nothing. You can access the interactive channels directly (eg 301 on freeview) but no teletext

    I actually prefer not having the red button access, you dont have to have that stupid red dot on the screen every time you turn onto bbc.

    red button doesn't mean much to me, but teletext is very important.
    Is there a plugin that can access some teletext-like service from the net?
