MediaPortal can't play xvid (1 Viewer)

OS : Windows XP - SP3, all updates installed
Mediaportal : v1.0.0 RC3
dxdiag shows version 9.0C

Due to a Windows crash, I had to install my 0.2.3 MP HTPC from scratch. I upgraded to XP-SP3 with MediaPortal 1.0.0rc3.
CCC codec pack, Windows Media Player 11 and latest Divx codec installed.

When playing xvid videos, Mediaplayer only shows a black screen. Audio is played, though. WMP11 has no problem whatsoever to play xvid files.

Any hints ?

Try installing "ffdshow tryout".

Fixed by uninstalling Mediaportal, reinstalling, and after that, installing CCC pack. --> WRONG, see aspect ratio

Check the aspect ratio

FYI, I tracked this correctly as a problem with the aspect ratio. Some codecs must be played in the aspect ratio in which they were recorded.
