Hi Everyone,
My first post and it's out of absolute desperation, I've done everything I can think of to get this working. I've been happily using media portal for quite some time and now, out of the blue it has stopped working.
Media portal loads successfully, then when you select any video, episode, movie to play it hangs and stops responding.
The configuration hangs on the "Adding filters section" in the splash screen.
The logs don't have any exceptions, I'm running TV-Series, myEmulators and MovingPictures. Windows 7 and the Alpha release.
Anyone got any ideas? I've attached my logs. I assume if I move all the dll files out of the plugin folders, it won't load the plugins. I've tried that and the config still crashes the same way.
Is there any way to 'reset' media portal back to it's defaults, but not the plugins? I tried to rename the mediaportal.xml file, but then it hung on 'loading configuration' instead.
I thought it could be a codec issue, but Media Player works ok and the problem is across the board (with all file formats/codecs).
Any troubleshooting tips you can give would be appreciated, I really, really don't want to have to re-install and then re-load all my eps/movies/roms etc again.
Cheers,
Henry.
