Mediaportal is set to restart on resume from standby. System goes into S3 standby correctly. Upon resume from S3 standby, Mediaportal crashes and my desktop is corrupted (taskbar disappears except for the "Start" button, desktop shortcuts are still shown). Mediaportal does start manually, and after exiting my desktop is restored.

It worked perfectly with Windows XP MCE on the exact same hardware.

I had some strange stuff with my system crashing after S3.
At the end it was a bad memory card...

I took out one memory card after the other and tested the S3 until l found the defected card.

    Hope this may help.

Nvidia drivers may be causing this, are you using the stock drivers that came with motherboard\graphics cards.

I've exactly the same problem with my Vista 32bit.

    Did you solve it?

    Hello,
I Resolved the problem by desactiving AERO, chosing theme Windows 7 basic

    I think I'll try that.
