MediaPortal Database? (1 Viewer)

I installed it yersterday and it runns fine!
But I got a little question about "MovingPictures" can I use my old MP-DB for it or do I have to search all movies again?

PS. Thanks a lot for this great skin!!!

    Hi there :)

    Database and skin are totally separated.
    You can easily switch skins without rescanning databases.

    Thanks a lot, but I think you got me wrong!
    What I wanted to know is, if I have to do another scan for the plugin "movingPictures" or can I use the existing MP database?

    MediaPortal Database cannot be used for MovingPictures.

    I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
