MediaPortal does not see my TV card (1 Viewer)

My system (XPSp3) Hp Pavilion m7680.nl-a Media Center, TV tunercard Asustek Lna Tiger Hybrid. Can anybody tell me what kind of card this is i.e. has it a hardware encoder on board or does it need a software encoder. If I need a software encoder which one. Earlier I got the suggestion to consult the 'Software encoding card setup' info, but that was not of any help. Media Portal seems a great program but it needs to work. I chose for it because the XP version of Microsoft Windows Mediacenter is no longer available. A question: Is the language used in this forum just English or can it also be Dutch?
