Mediaportal doesn't play at 1x after fast forward (1 Viewer)

Actions:
Open mediaportal
Selected my videos
selected a video (mkv h264)
fast forward at 32x (speed is not important, even at 2x tha problem still remains)
press pause
press pause again because even if i see the pause icon the video is still in fast forward
video is now in pause
press play
video is playing at 2x..

could you please try any other h.264 codec then ffdshow?
i tried with coreavc as codec here and it worked.

same thing with cyberlink h264 codec
i also tryed xvid/dvix and same problem here

Did you have a old copy of MP on your system prior to upgrading, did you copy any old files back.
This problem did exist, but Eabin fixed it just prior to MP1's release.

Maybe on X64 it did not clear these files correctly!

Uninstall MP1RC, check there are not leftovers, either in program files\data paths, i ran ccleaner and deleted any registry entries that pointed to mediaportal\TVServer.
Then run filmerit, repair any entries in there, by pressing the padlock button.
reboot and reinstall, hopefully this should fix issue.

Have you tried with 'Filmerit' to see if the codecs are correctly installed?

yep..
if i fast forward to 32x then i press again the ff button it plays at 1x
i doubt it's codec related

also..i can't go back home from my movie or mytvseries (have disabled picture, music, etc) if i already seen a video in that mediaportal "session"
what i mean is:

i can't go back home if:
start mediaportal
go to my movies o mytv series
play a movie (any audio/video codec)
finish movie or stop it
press esc to go to the home screen = stucks at movie/tv series list. if i press esc i mean that nothig happens but can hear the 'button press' sound..maybe it's skin related

I have a similar problem with fastforward. Mine is with divx files not x264 if I fastforward at 2x it keeps the audio going really fast like the chipmunks. When I press play it does go back to normal just annoying to have audio while fast forwarding. The fast speeds mute the audio.

Sounds as if no focus is on the given screen, you have not got another player enabled to replace the internal one.

i have windows media player 11 and vlc

and what about the skin problem?
