Hi. I'm starting MediaPortal and all works well. But when finish MP via EXIT
    a) the client closed (that's ok)
    b) in my Taskmanager there's mentioned the Mediaportal.exe still alive
    and that's not ok.
I don't know where to search this silly error.
    TIA 4 helping

It's probably something updating (something like the myShowTimes plugin)
Personally I'd leave it until it's done but you can use task manager (SHIFT+CTRL+ESC) processes to 'End Task' if you wish.

Moving Pictures or TVSeries can also have this kind of effect, personally I never start and try and immediately stop MP, believe too many corrupted databases are caused by this, correct me if I am wrong in this assumption, too little info to go on.

But logs might give a clue as to what is keeping mediapotal.exe open :)

i had the same problem once and it was caused by the minidisplay (in my case an imon). if i disabled minidisplay it worked fine again.
maybe you should disable all your plugins and see if its running or better said exiting as expected

Dear Morpheus_xx, I still assume that the issue is not due to hardware problems. Thanks beamland :) Unless you had previously saved those settings, the values that were shown were not necessarily the ones that MP was using. In other words, it might have shown MP Audio Renderer when you first loaded configuration... but that doesn't mean MP was using the MP Audio Renderer before that time. Only logs could have...

Okay. Keep in mind that the Cyberlink codec has a property page too, and I believe it has deinterlacing settings (like LAV). To view/configure, click the screwdriver/spanner button next to the codec selection (as usual with LAV and any other codec). MP also has a deinterlacing setting for TV...
