MediaPortal instead of WMC (1 Viewer)

Hallo, Since Windows 10 it is not possible to use WMC anymore so I planned to move to MediaPortal, In the past, with Windows 8.1, I tried already to do so but wihout success. Maybe my TVcard is the problem. My TV card is Hauppauge HVR 2200 and I understood that it has 2 analog and 1 freeview DVB-T digital receivers (I also read that all receivers are hybride). I have plenty of space on my drives, use the Nvidea Geforce GTX 760 videocard and a Intel I7-3770 processor.
Can anybody tell me if my TV card is O.K. for MediaPortal and if not, what type TVcard do I need for a proper use of MediaPortal or give me other information to get MediaPortal working (In MediaPortal, with Windows 8.1 I tried to scan for the channels get as information "no signal")? Yes, it should be fine.

What type of scan were you doing - DVB-T, analog or FM radio?
Are you sure the frequencies that you were scanning were correct?

In general, I suggest you try MediaPortal again. If you still have problems, please post log files and we will help you to solve the problems.

You also have to be sure that on your Win 8.1 WMC is not running anymore. WMC has a couple of background processes that need to be stopped first.

I tried MediaPortal several times in Windows 8.1. With and without WMC. In both cases I have got "no signal" after scanning.[DOUBLEPOST=1438355402][/DOUBLEPOST]I tried MediaPortal in Windows 8.1 DBT-T and other TV possibilities. Not scanning radio. I am not interested in radio canals..

O.K. The system found some channels but I have 3 problems. I am not a computer specialist, I am not a MediaPortal specialist and I do not understand english quite well. So, it is not easy to get MediaPortal functioning. WMC was more easier. But enclosed you will find the logbook.[DOUBLEPOST=1438363438][/DOUBLEPOST]I forgot to mention that my computer got a BSOD (new style) at the end of the scanning[DOUBLEPOST=1438365087][/DOUBLEPOST]Everytime to do something with MediaPortal my computer crashed so I stop trying and will watch my TV in the livingroom.
