Hi all,

I have been using mediaportal for a few weeks now and I really like it. Still have a bit of configuration to do. However, I have 2 issues which I can't seem to figure out and I hope someone else out here can help me :D

I'm currently using mediaportal 1.0.2 with the streamed mp plugin. I have imported my 1.5TB worth of movies (ISO images) into mediaportal and this works great :) The hard drive was connected to the computer running mediaportal and was mounted as G: However, recently I bought a NAS and I decided to move the hard drive to the NAS so it could be shared across all computers in the house. I figured I could mount the hard drive using the map network drive feature again as G: so my library would not need to be reimported again (it took me a good few hours the last time). However, when I did this, strangely my movies in moving pictures show up in red and says that the disc labled MEDIA could not be found

I tried reimporting one movie again and compared this with the earlier one and it is exactly the same i.e. same file location etc. My question is how does moving pictures maintain this information? Is there any simple way to make this work and save me a few hours of painful work? Please help

Another problem I have is when I play .ISO image files, I cannot seem to use the seek feature i.e. +/-15sec, +/-30sec etc. If I use this feature the bar displaying the seek bar stays on top and then no remote button responds anymore  I need to kill mediaportal eventually since I find the bar at the bottom quite annoying so I cannot ff/rew between chapters. Has anyone faced this problem before? If so can you please let me know how I can resolve this?

Sorry for the long post :sorry: All help will be greatly appreciated :D

I ran into the same Moving Pictures issue as you. I moved stuff around and tried forcing it to work but it didn't like it. I just ended up reimporting everything. I have about 200 ISO movies so it didnt take too long. But I do take care in the naming of my ISOs so that Moving Pictures automatically correctly assigns everything without my intervention. So its a one click, leave, come back later, and it's done operation.

Sorry, I do not have the seek issue as you. Hope you are able to resolve it.

Which DVD playing software are you using, default?
I have issues if I stop an iso. It plays ok but if I stop it then MP crashes so I have to reboot or end task. I am using the default 1.0.2 install.
Also the OSD (on screen display) when I play a movie always appears behind the movie. Hence I never really use FF etc. OSD works fine for live TV and recordings.
I do use the zoom feature a lot which is great. Press S on the keyboard to toggle through different resizing of the DVD picture. I find the best size for my big screen using the S key.
