Hey guys I love everything about MediaPortal except the character in the default skin, your symbol - reminds me too much of the old golliwog whch has become unacceptable thses days. Just wonder about others opinions and maybe it could be put to say a Poll? Redesigned?

No, MePo is great! I cant see how the happy guy could be offensive at all! if you are offended by MePo then you are taking things too seriously!! :D

BTW - If you want the old character back, check out Blue3 Retro. Or go into the skin file and delete the MePo images.

Mepo is a Smiley Blue/Green blob. Its about as generic as you can get.

However If you have any improvement suggestions or alternatives, then feel free to post! :)

Uh, oh... its nice where today's world is going... Every single thing is intepreted as racisms or something similar. MePo is TV. I guess no one would want to watch a TV that has anything else than a black "backlight" color.

If those default skin characters offend someone there are few easy options:

    1) Don't browse to MP home page
    2) Don't install MP
    3) If you decide to install MP even if you think the developers are racists you can always delete the hover images from the default skin

...people should lighten up a little bit. Today's politicians are already having their screws bolted up too tight, no need to have such for the public.
