Hello everyone...New here at the forums and Mediaportal and am overwhelmed with computers and watch/playing CD's and DVD's....Hope this forum can help defrag my brain on the media end...I'm an OTR Truck driver and am on and off the computer alot at different times...Don't be offended if I ask a question one minute and gone the next....I would appreciate all the help I can get....WhiteWolf

Welcome. I also am spankin new to this forum. Love the potentials of this system and apparently am getting ready to ditch my PlayOn Media server as well as the need to stream from my office PC to my PS3 in another room, which feeds the TV.
Or I can take an "extra" PC and reinstall fresh copy of XP and turn it into a Media PC only.
I also recently got a steal on a Netgear Stora with a 1 tb HDD for 149.00 at Radio Shack. Not sure how to utilize this, as it actually is a NAS (I believe) and can "feed" several PCs once integrated into my home network.
