I am not sure where this bug should be reported since it locks Mediaportal but I think it is caused by the Tv server client and it only happens while I am using the Tv server client in Maediportal. Feel free to move this post if it does not belong in this part of the forum.

Anyway here is the problem.

Recently I have been having problem with mediaportal hanging without crashing. It usually happen while I am switching channels or if I am browsing the EPG. The logs in this post is from when the hang occured when I was trying to watch a tv channel after browsing the EPG.

The tv-server works just fine even after that Mediportal has stopped responding. I now try to kill Mediaportal by closing the mediaportal window. This works but the Mediaportal process is still running and it is impossible to kill it from the processlist in the Windows task manager. The only way to kill it is to restart the PC.

This has happened quite frequently lately. It also sometimes happens if I am watching TV and close Mediaportal while tv is still running. It looks like the shutdown routine for Mediaportal/Tv server client is not working properly.
