MediaPortal Slow plus TVSeries does not show any series (1 Viewer)

Since the last update of TVSeries, my MP does not startup correctly, it stops at the screen "Loading display plugins". After 10 min. MP starts, but works very slowly. Then TVSeries does not show any series. When I want to start the config, the loading screen for TVSeries Config appears, but hangs here and my CPU goes to 100%. Does anyone know what I should do and how to fix this issue?

this sounds an awful lot like database corruption.

Just start MediaPortal with "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" (from start menu). The tool will automatically collect all logs and save them into a zip file.

Hi there,

I had a similar/same issue since the last upgrade.

It sat on the splash screen when loading plugins. After trial and error (disabling individual plugs) I narrowed it down to TV Series.

renamed the DB (incase of corruption). It created a new DB, but it still hung on the MePo splash screen.

In the end I uninstalled TV Series (and redeleted the DB) and then reinstalled it again.

Everything seems ok now.

Sorry no logs - as I got peeved off with it and once it was working again I cleared down all my client logs.
