Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled at about 01.00h (CET).
You can also visit the official irc-channel (#mediaportal) to get a notice when its ready for download. The trigger !svn gives you the latest update too.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:
1) Install MediaPortal 0.2.3.0, not necessary if already done
2) install .NET Framework Version 2.0
3) Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
4) Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
5) Hopefully enjoy the new version
6) If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Important notice: The backup function wont work for Vista atm, here you need to save your configuration manually. A rewrite is planned but will take some more time for testing.

    Hmm,
Your posting about something you don't know a shit about & moaning without meaning. This kind of posts are useless as long as you don't test & report about something real, for now i won't do anything but next.............

    ASIO Support for Music

I have just tested this build, hoping it might have sorted the ASIO issues recently interduced.

The results are much the same, I normally (or have been) running with both internal ASIO support enabled and PureAudio enabled.

In this configuration MP does not crash but is unable to play anything - logs for this run in file
    MediaPortalLogs-aiso-Internal and PureAudio-enabled.zip

Disabling PureAudio Plugin and just enabling internal ASIO support caused MP to crash the sec you press play. See logs in zip file
    MediaPortalLogs-Internal-ASIO-Enbled.zip

Disabling internal ASIO and enabling PureAudio plugin results in 'enable to play' messages in the log - see logs in zip file
    MediaPortalLogs-pureaudio-enabled.zip

Disabling all ASIO support, internal and PureAudio allows music to play with no problems.

I will post the problem in the PureAudio reaging the issues with that plugin but internal support for ASIO not working is an issue.

    Thanks

i hope the developers fixed the problem with the "now playing" bug in the playlist. it possible to play music files in myMusic with the Play Button to see the cover. in a playlist its only possible to play songs with the OK Button not with the Play Button.
