Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled at about 01.00h (CET).
You can also visit the official irc-channel (#mediaportal) to get a notice when its ready for download. The trigger !svn gives you the latest update too.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:
1) Install MediaPortal 0.2.3.0, not necessary if already done
2) install .NET Framework Version 2.0
3) Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
4) Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
5) Hopefully enjoy the new version
6) If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Important notice: The backup function wont work for Vista atm, here you need to save your configuration manually. A rewrite is planned but will take some more time for testing.

Problem with Hauppauge 43 button remote

I had a prev version of MP SVN installed and My Hauppauge remote (43 buttons) worked ok
I installed this SVN and the remote is no longer working.
Actually this problem is for quite some time - about a week or 10 days ago I did the same, and remote stop working too. I had to remove MP, install 0.2.3.0 and the install an older SVN (don't know which one, I pick one randomly, I guess from around mid February) That has problem with Search in TV programs, so I wanted to install latest one hoping Search in TV programs would wrk again - but this broke the hauppauge remote
Please fix it

Unable to start graph - no tv

Using latest svn for tvserver and mp I cannot watch tv.

In tv-server setup I can scan for channels and also start record and timeshift manually.
The recorded files can be played in vnc. So I think it is not a tvserver problem.

But in MyTV I get a "unable to create graph" after 20-30s when I try to start tv.
EPG of the current channel is displayed in MyTV.
I tried to use different codecs but none worked.

Logs are attached.

    Dshowhelper.dll not found

I had the dshowhelper.dll not found error with this build (see error.log). Restoring my previous working SVN didn't resolve the problem, because the corresponding version of dshowhelper.dll wasn't restored (see screenshot). Manually copying the backed up version of dshowhelper.dll into the installation directory eliminated the error.
