Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled automatically, every week on friday.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

Report Issues / Bugs:
  1. Before you start an bugreport, make sure that you system meets the ::requirements::
  2. After you checked the requirements, take a look at our ::Bugtracker::, to find out if your issue has allready been reported.
    Roadmap/Changelog: MediaPortal 1 - TV-Server - Installers
  3. If the Problem is not known yet, please have a look at the correct Bugreport forum.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:
  1. Install MediaPortal 1.0 RC1, not necessary if already done
  2. Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
  3. Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
  4. Hopefully enjoy the new version
  5. If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Still DVB-T tuning problems

I have updated the following thread:

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-channel-scan-crashes-missing-channels-39139/

with logs for this SVN, as well as a backtrack of when this problem seems to have been introduced. I have had this problem since SVN17329. If I install SVN 17325 of TVServer, scanning works perfect!

I have updated psisdecd.dll and mpg2data.ax to correct versions!

Best Regards

    Hi all

Just went back to MediaPortal and the way you guys have been working and getting results is amazing.

    thank you very much !!!

But im having one problem until now on the new SVN.

All my H.264 files (mkv) are missing the subtitles.

I can select them from the OSD, but they are not showing up.

All sybtitles from FFDSHOW are good and the DVB subtitles are showing good.

Only problem with h.264 mkv files.

Anyone can help with this ... ?

    Thanks

    WebEPG users should read this!!!!!!!

If you install this SVN and are using TVServer, WebEPG will no longer work.

The reason is quite simple. To make the overall directory structure more consistent the devs have moved some files for WebEPG from <programdir> to the <appdatadir>.

Follow these steps to fix your installation:

    1.) Copy your WebEPG.xml file from <programfiles>\.....\WebEPG to <appdata>\.....\WebEPG
    2.) Copy your xmltv.dtd file from <programfiles>\.....\xmltv to <appdata>\.....\xmltv
3.) Start TVServer config -> goto plugins -> xmltv -> change xmltv directory to <appdata>\.....\xmltv
4.) Start WebEPG.exe and wait until it is finished
5.) Press Import button in TVServer config -> plugins and see if all is working well.

    HTH.

Where can we see what has been fixed in this SVN? I can't quite figure out in Mantis what has been fixed in this SVN as opposed to what has been fixed overall?

    XFace user should read this!!!!!!

If you are using XFace skin you should be careful using this SVN.
For me it displays a warning at every start that the skin may be outdated which makes using MP with this skin nearly impossible (when using a remote control).

Does anybod have an idea how to fix this. The tip I found in the forum to alter the version string in the reference.xml file of the skin does not work. Also the log dos not show any hints what could be wrong.

Any way to disable this anoying message altogether?

    Thanks
