Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled at about 01.00h (CET).
You can also visit the official irc-channel (#mediaportal) to get a notice when its ready for download. The trigger !svn gives you the latest update too.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:

1) Install latest MediaPortal Release 0.2.2.0, not necessary if already done
2) install .NET Framework Version 2.0
3) Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
4) Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
5) Hopefully enjoy the new version
6) If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Unkown Channel

TV Server broken, now says "Unkown Channel" when trying to watch live DVB-T in the UK using Nova T-500.

Yes I confirm this.

I get "unkowchannel" when I preview from setupTV.

From client I get" No audio video, unable to time shift"

Confirmed Timesifting UK DVB-T not working.

Recordings have NO picture and audio channel one is empty and channel two has the audio that should be on channel one.

The TVServer LOG folder is completly empty, no logs at all produced.

Naming of schedule recordings is still wroong, previous EPG prog name still used.

logs appeared after a reboot.

Gone back to TV server SVN 14824 and all the above works correctly.

I have the same problem with Danish DVB-T - both with 'client' and manual start!

Still black screen after sleep

I had the black screen after sleep-bug (only solution is to close MP with alt+f4 and restart) with 0.2.2.0, so i tried this rev, but problem persist.

Anyone else got the problem? What should i try?

I have similar problems, but not repeatably. I'm not sure it's due to MePo, however. It seems to me that I sometimes get a black screen on wake-up even after killing MePo before hibernate. Of course, it could be due to waking up for EPG update. It's not clear from the logs.
