Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled automatically, every week on friday.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

Report Issues / Bugs:
  1. Before you start an bugreport, make sure that you system meets the ::requirements::
  2. After you checked the requirements, take a look at our ::Bugtracker::, to find out if your issue has allready been reported.
    Roadmap/Changelog: MediaPortal 1 - TV-Server - Installers
  3. If the Problem is not known yet, please have a look at the correct Bugreport forum.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:
  1. Install MediaPortal 1.0 RC1, not necessary if already done
  2. Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
  3. Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
  4. Hopefully enjoy the new version
  5. If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Hi,

Avast report Trojans insistently during the install, but I think that already happened before, with others svn.

Anyway, I hope nothing strange has managed to sneak in the rar file during my downloading.

Hi,

one other little thing is that you can't choose between channels in tv menu with remote. To choose channel you need to gain focus with the mouse. That happened before in previous svn and was fixed with a new TvPlugin.dll. This time I used this TvPlugin.dll I still kept in my computer and replaced the one in MP. but it didn't work. I still need to use the keyboard mouse to browse channels.

I edit: OK. I downloaded again the TVPlugin.dll that is in previous svn thread and replaced the MP one and now it worked.

I skipped the last svn due to some nasty bugs. With this svn I can't switch from an HDTV (H264) to an SD-channel (MPEG2) anymore. The picture freezes but I can go back to the MyTV menu. After switching TV off/on the graph starts again and the selected SD-channel works.

I tried different codecs (CoreAVC and PowerDVD8-H264) for AVC and MPEG2, but the behaviour remains the same. The svn two weeks ago works good for me.

EDIT: Now I just updated only the TV-Server. Works good with the two weeks old svn from Mediaportal. So the bug is located in the present Mediaportal-svn.

As in the previous svn, no mini epg at the client side and no zapping between SD and HD channels possible as described in previous post.

So no RC2 at this moment for me. Please fix this as it worked in the svn form three weeks ago.

All problems solved, reïnstalled mediaportal's tvserver. Now I have mini epg on all clients, no matter what version they are running.

Can you please post a screenshot and maybe attach Avast detection log ?
