These Subversion-snaps are compiled automatically, every week on friday.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.​

Report Issues / Bugs:

1. Before you start an bugreport, make sure that you system meets the ::requirements::
2. After you checked the requirements, take a look at our ::Bugtracker::, to find out if your issue has allready been reported.

3. If the Problem is not known yet, please have a look at the correct Bugreport forum.
   • Issues with MediaPortal have to be reported in the MediaPortal Bugreport forums.
     Make sure you follow the Guideline, or the thread will be deleted.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:

1. Install latest MediaPortal version, not necessary if already done
2. Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
3. Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
4. Hopefully enjoy the new version
5. If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

With this SVN the H264-playback is broken with Cyberlink PowerDVD-Codec. The pictures freezes after some seconds on 1080i-channels. On 720P-channels (50fps) the playback speed is 50% slower than usually.

The only codec that runs fine is CoreAVC. The older SVN works fine with PowerDVD H264-codec.

Just installed this SVN but now HD playback is unusable. Video is realy kerky and audio is seconds out of sync (and gets worse)

Tried Nvidia, ac3filter and MPA audio codecs (as well as a couple of different video codecs) but still had same result.

This is not just live TV this is also recorded stuff (from previous SVN). Everything was working fine previously.

Please test if this SVN version works ok with the previous SVN version of TsReader.ax. Also please provide logs (and jameson_uk should provide system specs ).

Also how high the CPU usage is? Sounds like Cyberlink's HW acceleration is not working.

Ok, sounds like Cyberlink codec behaves badly when it comes HW acceleration and the video outpin pin's properties. I guess we need to add another ugly hack for that codec. Unfortunately I cannot myself test HW acceleration and H.264 codec(s) as I have no suitable HW in dev pc (HTPC has GF9500, but it is not used for testing).
