Mediaportal swaps back to desktop when playing dvd (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

When i play a dvd the first time its all ok, but when i start another one mediaportal swaps back to desktop and then starts the dvd.

How can i fix this?

I do have the same problem with movie files. One second before the movie start you can see the desktop for short time.

yes, and in win xp i dont have that problem

As long as there is NO logs and you are using an old version (0.2.3.0) you will most probably not get any "official" support.

Use MPTestTool found in Start-> to catch logs (and DO update MP)

Where did you get this from????

I've got a PVR150 - working fine. This card is supported by both old TV engine and TV-server. You can choose which you want to use when updating.

when i install mediaportal 1.0.1, were is the tv option like we had in 0.2.3.0
i really dont know how, so how did you get your pvr working and how do you watch tv

i just did a new install, and only installed ffdshow

the difference is that i dosnt go back to the desktop anymore i just waits 1 sec with a black screen (im using monochrome skin)
