Have downloaded MediaPortalSetup_1.1.3 to system running XP Pro version 2002 SP3.
System has latest Microsoft net Framework 4; downloaded and repair run.
Hardware is AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual
core Processor 3800+
2.00 Ghz, 3.43GB of RAM
PHysical Address Extension

Am attempting Deploy only; never reach screen offering that option. No skins or other extensions present.

No MediaPortal Debug shortcut has been created.

No MediaPortal Debug shortcut exists in the Windows Start Menu.

When MediaPortalSetup_1.1.3 run, immediately displays message

"Some components are missing on your system to install MediaPortal.
Please install the following components.

-Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

Installation will be canceled."

The answer is in the message. You need to install .net 3.5. 4 does not include 3.5 (3.5 includes 2.0 though)
