Hello everyone:

I have a computer which I have built to be my media center PC, and I (naturally) use MediaPortal to do so. The problem I have currently having might be a simple fix I have not come across yet, and I am hoping someone can help me out with it.

When I go into "My Videos" I get a list of all the DVDs which I have stored on my computer. Before I choose which movie I want to watch, I can also drag my cursor to the top of the screen (MediaPortal is always in fullscreen mode) and a menu bar will drop down with such buttons as Back, Forward, Pause, Play, Skip, etc. But once I select a movie to watch and it starts playing in fullscreen, when I drag my cursor to the top of the screen there is no longer a menu bar to work with, especially when I want to pause or stop the movie and go back and choose a different movie to watch.

I have figured out a way to get past the movie playing: First I have to right-click on the screen and select "root menu," then right-click again and select "previous window" and it will take me to the "My Videos" section of MediaPortal so I can pause or stop the movie.

I am wondering if there is a way to configure the menu I was referencing into thetop of the screen for when I am watching a movie. Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
That other guy

The top menu is not accesible whilst video is playing, it's being looked at, as touch screen\mouse users need it, remote users do not.
