Hi there.

I just replaced the standard remote plugin for the MCE Replacement Plugin.
With the old plugin scrolling the menu goes verry fluid.
But when i use the MCE Replacement Plugin the scrolling is much slower and sometimes verry laggy.

When i use the keybord to scroll the menus theres no problem and everything is verry fast.

Is there a way to change the speed of the plugin or did i do someting wrong setting up the plugin?

Thanks.

That's very strange, I've not heard of this problem before.

Could you provide your mediaportal.log file and the specifications of your computer?

Is it a microsoft or smk receiver?

    Cheers,

I don't use the replacement IR suite on my downstairs PC but I also sometimes get the issue with slow scrolling speed.
This was a bug in MP a while ago reported as "sluggish menu behaviour when TV was not set to autostart" or something.
It was fixed a while ago, but came back for a while on my system. Not sure what caused it, but it would come and go. Is it possible that this is not related to the MCE replacement plugin at all?

    Edit:
Marcusb. I have been using mediaportal for about 6 weeks now so i dont have anything to compare this problem and the past problems with slow scolling speeds. All i know is that it started when i instaled the replacement plugin.
as for setting TV to autostart, i dont think i can do that as i dont have a tv card yet (will buy one in the near future).

You said you're using MCE Replacement plugin, you meant IR Server Suite I take it?

You don't have both installed do you?

Yes i only installed the ir suite.

    Just to be sure;
Mce replacement plugin is a part of the ir suite right?

MCE Replacement plugin is a separate plugin altogether, but it's functionality is reproduced by the IR Server Suite.

MCE Replacement plugin was the first attempt, IR Server Suite is an evolution of that.

I'll look into the problem your having and see if I can reproduce it here.

    Thanks,
