I am getting micro stutters after standby with MP. If I close MP and then restart it the micro stutters go away completely until the next standby and restart. I am using powerscheduler to put the computer to sleep and am running my scan rate at 75Hz for PAL at 25 frames per second.

The micro stutters are most noticeable on crawlers ( the scrolling news feeds across the bottom of the screen ) but are just noticeable on normal television as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks RTV I used the

<section name="general">
<entry name="restartonresume">yes</entry>

and it is a great workaround.

Cheers,

Lachlan.

    I've just added a config option in the general section so other users can benefit from that setting as well ;) Will be available with next SVN.

    Although the workaround might fix the problem, does anyone have any idea of why this is happening?

    I've had similar problems with sleep and stutter, but i've changed my configuration alot since then... but this is a real showstopper for me if i decide to go with a DVB-C card.

    Im going to try this out more when i get home....

    Hi rtv,

    I am getting an error when I try to record something from standby with this setting enabled. I have attached a screen grab of the error message as well as the text details of the error. I have tested thoroughly and the error does not appear with this setting disabled.

    Any help you can offer with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
