Milkdrop will not fullscreen with Internet Radio via playlist files (1 Viewer)

I can't seem to find out how to full screen the milkdrop plugin while playing Internet Radio stations via .pls and .m3u files in the regular "Music" player. Playlists for regular mp3 files work fine as do just playing a single mp3 file.

I've tried this with both Black glass nova and default wide...same results.

Here is the contents of one of the .pls files that points to an internet radio station:

I did some searching before I posted, and didn't find anything...leading me to believe that nobody else is having this issue.

So is there some sort of setting that I'm missing?

Does keyboard x not work for you, most European\Asia remotes have coloured teletext buttons, the red one switches between screen\fullscreen video, most harmony and other remotes have these buttons, they may just be down the menu hidden somewhere.

Keyboard x works with mp3 files and playlist that pertain only to mp3 files, but not internet radio stations that are pointed to via playlist files.

First time I have seen this query, wondering if the bass player is not being used is part of the problem, never tried.

So you are getting windowed viz, just not going to fullscreen, if so will try and setup some internet radio stations and test tomorrow, sorry not something I normally use.

I also can't get full-screen visualization while listening to internet radio in 1.2.0 beta. I've set up internet radio stations in radio section of MP. I see windowed visualizations but can't make it full screen, tried with red button on remote and x on keyboard as suggested earlier.

Have you maybe tried to see if full screen visualizations work at your setup?
Dunno if it's a bug or it just limitation and can't be done.

Hi, I am having the same issue here. I'm running 1.2.1 with Radiotime and the latest version of StreamedMP.

With the normal music player (playing audio files) I can hit X and get full screen visualizations.

With streaming radio, I cannot get full screen visualizations. In Radiotime I select a stream from my presets, and the system goes directly to the now playing screen. No visualizations present at all. Pressing X does nothing here.

I can get the small windowed visualization in the lower left corner if I play a stream, exit to the main menu (H) and click on the playing track overlay icon in the lower left of the screen. This goes to the screen that has the star rating for the track, a small graphic RTA meter in the middle, track progre below it and a small windowed visualization to the left. On this screen I hit X and nothing as well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am also having this issue on a new HTPC (1.2.1), whereas my other HTPC (1.1.3) is still working fine.
The problem for me only happens when you are listening to an internet radio stream (Radio) not MP3s (Music) and causes the Red button on a normal Windows Media remote to do nothing rather than display a full screen visualization (normally Milk Drop).

Be cool to get a fix.

I'm also having this issue listening to internet radio streams, in that I can't get any type of viz working when listening to streaming audio. Like the other reports, my WinAmp viz (MilkDrop) does work just fine with local .mp3 files. Looks like it's a problem specific to streaming audio.

I'm running MP 1.2.2 and Milkdrop 2.24. Tested with DefaultWide, although I usually use the Mustayaluca skin. I have the usual array of plugins installed (Moving Pictures, MP-TVSeries etc). I was streaming with the StreamRadio plugin. I can't see anything much obvious in the log files, although here's a relevant snippet just in case:
