ich hab den Soundgraph Support mal ganz nett angeschrieben und die auf knien gebeten dafür zu sorgen das deren Displays im MP funzen.

Naja, ich hab derzeit nur ärger, das die Einstellung "MCE Remete" verloren geht, sobald ich den PC vom Strom (per Funksteckdose) nehme. Und die funktioniert wesentlich besser als das ImonPad mit der HarmonyOne

Tja,
bei mir lief die Harmony 555 als MCE überhaupt nicht, bzw. MP oder iMon hat sich total quer gestellt.

Ist ja auch totaler Blödsinn wenn man ein iMon-PC Gehäuse hat und MCE Remote machen will.

Einfach Harmony als iMon-Pad einrichten und die Sache läuft zu 100% fehlerfrei.
In MP dann trotzdem MCE Remote einstellen und die MediaPortal.imo rein, fertig.

Die Mini-Display Plugins kann ich zumindest für mein iMon-LCD-9 komplett vergessen.

Da geht nichts.

Und das Plugin schrottet auch noch die originalen iMon Treiber usw....

Ich mach da jetzt nichts mehr bis es eine offizielle Lösung bzw. Unterstützung gibt.

Also ehrlich gesagt kann ich das nicht unterschreiben. Die Hardware ist ok, die Software hat ihre Macken und der Support ist faktisch nicht existent.
Auch ich habe in der Vergangenheit meine Erfahrungen mit denen schon gemacht...
Bin dann schließlich aufgrund der schlechten iMedian HD-Software und des Nicht-Supports von Soundgraph bei MP gelandet (was wiederum das beste war, das mir passieren konnte).
Aber auch der iMon-Manager hat viele Bugs und das schon laaange. Wenn man sich mal das Forum auf deren Seiten anschaut, wimmelt es dort von unzufriedenen Kunden und Usern, die bugs melden und gerne mal etwas Support hätten. Der Soundgraph Support stellt sich aber zwischendurch gerne mal monatelang tot, was ziemlich frustrierend ist.

Darum hoffe ich zwar das beste, was die versprochene Zusammenarbeit mit den MP Devs angeht, bin aber noch mehr als skeptisch, ob das wirklich passiert. Aber die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zuletzt

Die Harmony als ImonPad reagiert nicht so präzise wie als MCE, aber beide laufen. In der Harmony Software selber wird auch empfohlen diese als MCE zu betreiben.

If you are experiencing difficulties controlling your iMON device, please follow the steps below to change your iMON device to a more optimal configuration.

Please note that if you have a 600 series remote you will need to make these changes in order for your Harmony remote to update correctly.

1. Remove the current device and add the new device as Device: Media Center PC, Manufacturer: Soundgraph, Model: iMon (Media Center Remote)
2. Add the updated iMON device. On the Add Devices page, select Media Center PC from the Device dropdown, select SoundGraph from the Manufacturer dropdown, and type iMon (Media Center Remote) in the Model field
3. Update your Harmony Remote
4. Follow these steps to setup the iMon Manager to use the MCE remote

Aber da die ImonPad Lösung prinzipiell läuft (auch mit Mini-Display) kann ich darauf immer wieder zurückgreifen, aber es wurmt halt, wenn man weiß es könnte noch besser gehen...

Aber da die ImonPad Lösung prinzipiell läuft (auch mit Mini-Display) kann ich darauf immer wieder zurückgreifen, aber es wurmt halt, wenn man weiß es könnte noch besser gehen...

Also bei mir reagiert die superpräzise, um Klassen besser als die originale iMon-FB.

Ich hatte massive Probleme mit MCE und iMon.
Da ging dann entweder das Display oder die FB usw...
Alles Käse.

Zudem hat man mit der iMon noch viele zusätzliche Funktionen/Tasten die es bei der MCE so nicht gibt.

Muss eben jeder selber wissen, ich hab die Harmony als MCE bzw. iMon als MCE nicht zum laufen gekriegt.

mit Soundgraph rockt meinte ich das die jetzt mit MP reden.
Ist kein muss bei Open Source.
