It's being minimized to the tray.

If you can use your remote or not, depends on what remote you are using and if you are using e.g. girder or similar applications. You can tell girder to send keystrokes to a certain application (you got several options there) rather than to the front application.

But I'm not sure if MP is accepting keystrokes while being minimized.
