I have this display for about 6 Months and have had it working well with the driver it comes and LCDSmartie (the setup is explained on the mirrorbow website). I only really used it for utilization and track display in Winamp.
I Recently discovered MP and thought that the display would make an excellent partner.
Unfortunatley, after trying the builtin external display plugin and trying several LCDSmartie workarounds, I am no further on and still can't get the diplay to work properly.
The closest I get is with the Externaldisplay plugin and the Crystalfontz 634 driver. I get characters on the display which I can read, but the display keeps shifting making it unreadable.
If there is anyone out there who has one of these working or has any ideas as to things I could try then all input would be greatly appreciated...
